Monday Motivation - Trauma Overcome
Scroll DownSee you guys tonight at 7pm in the barn. We will discuss Victor Marx's story "Trauma Overcome".
Victor Marx gives a powerful testimony to overcoming his childhood abuse. Victor has an incredible life story from his childhood, his military service, his renewed faith in God, his marriage, and his fatherhood.
At the age of 5, Victor was molested and left in a commercial cooler to die. He endured a childhood marked with physical and sexual abuse, multiple stepfathers, 14 schools and 17 different houses. Victor’s childhood was marked by abuse and instability. By the time he graduated from high school, his lifestyle was consumed by drugs, fights and theft. To this day, he credits the discipline of military life and a renewed faith in God for the stabilization and resurrection of his life.
Victor "I don't know how to be a dad" God "I'm the best father there is, and I'll teach you how to be one". God can and will teach us how to be the best men we can be if we will just ask him. His example is absolute truth in manhood.
