Jim Caviezel of The Passion of The Christ, gives a passionate speech about fighting for our religious, Christian Freedom. He uses a great comparison of William Wallace's Braveheart Speech about Freedom. Without our religious freedom, what will we have? Christianity is dwindling in the US and Christian leaders do nothing to stand against the war wagged on our faith. They belittle and degrade the word of Christ to appease a liberal congregation and society.

We must go into the pagan world and express our faith in public. The world needs proud warriors animated by their faith. Warriors like Saint Paul, Saint Luke, and Saint Peter. God is calling each one of us to do great things in the name of Christ. Do we fail to respond? Do we listen to that calling of Christ inside us? Do we follow his commands or do we turn from him because society demands it?

The name Saul means great one. The name Paul means little one. By a small change we can be great in the eyes of God. God requires us to be little if we wish to be great. This is the way of the holy. We must embrace our cross and race towards our goal.

Only our faith in the wisdom of Christ can save us. It requires warriors willing to risk their lives, reputations, names, and money. You were not born to fit in. You were born to stand out.

Galatians 1:10 - For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

Pope John Paul said "Democracy cannot be sustained without a shared commitment to certain moral truths about the human person and human community.” How aught we live together? Can society exclude moral truth and moral reasoning?

William Wallace:  I am William Wallace, and I see a whole army of my countrymen, here, in defiance of Tyranny. You’ve come to fight as free men, and free men you are. What will you do without freedom? Will you fight?  Blonde Soldier: Fight? Against that? No!
[Members of the Scottish army shout in agreement.] We will run! And we will live.
William Wallace: Aye. Fight and you may die. Run, and you’ll live...at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days, from this day to that, for one chance – just one chance – to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives but they’ll never take our freedom!

We can never let anyone or anything take the religious freedom that so many have fought and died for. Christ gave us all the tools needed to fight, mentally and physically, for the word of Christ. We must put on the full armor of God and walk into the fleshly world. Our faith can not be silenced if we refuse to be shamed, blamed, persecuted, and ridiculed.

Be Brave at Heart. The power of Christ in your heart will give you the strength, the wisdom, the boldness, to stand up for what it is. Do what is right because it's right!
