Cherokee County Board of Education is on a slippery slope by implementing Critical Race Theory into our schools with a possible adoption of a new Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion plan (DEI) and the creation of a new Administrator on Special Assignment dedicated to providing leadership, support for development, implementation, and monitoring of CCSD's Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and DEI initiatives starting in the 2021 school year.  This is in no way good for our community and especially not for our children.  Please sign this petition to let the CCSD BOE and Superintendent Hightower know:
